Coupeville is a small community with a nautical flair located on Penn Cove which is in the middle of Whidbey Island. It is a quiet harbor that faces east. Coupeville has many similarities to Port Townsend but on a smaller scale. It offers saltwater fishing at the many beaches nearby. Two access points are Fort Casey State Park and Fort Ebey State Park which contain several miles of beach front fishing possiblities. Crabbing can be done at the dock in town, while clams can also be found at Double Bluff as well.
